Never staying in the same location for too long, I love new challenges and bring my ambition, dedication and dynamic attitude to every role and situation.

Top achievements

Obtaining the dream wedding planning job in my mid 20s and overseeing a collection of high-end social event venues across Greater London; successfully navigating a start-up through the pandemic; smoothly transitioning career and industry between hospitality, finance, and higher education; and last but not least, raising two incredible high achieving children.

Why did you choose the Kent MBA?

Kent Business School is triple-accredited (EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA), placing it among the top 1% of business schools worldwide. As an employee at the University, I could not miss the opportunity to study my MBA with the prestigious and brilliant KBS faculty and alumni, their wealth of knowledge and experience is unparalleled.

MBA goals

Over the course of the next 2 years, I look forward to refreshing and refining my business acumen from a global perspective, developing my strategic abilities and analytical skills; and most importantly challenging my own thinking and how I approach learning and leadership. I can’t wait to get stuck into the practical application (theory will only take you so far!) and of course, the exciting networking opportunities along the way. Building a professional network with peers, faculty and alumni will be instrumental in guiding and supporting my next career move.

What are your aspirations post MBA?

Having moved from wedding planning into a more corporate business setting and then focusing on the intensity of multiple startups including growing a business from scratch; I have come to appreciate and respect the key role a well-appointed Chief of Staff can play. Strategic planning, project management, and decision support are my natural strengths, so I relish the opportunity to bring these skills together in one place, whether a startup, SME or MNC.

What is the best lesson you have learned in business?

With each failure comes the opportunity to learn, grow and develop. There is no shame in taking a beat when you are down, then taking the time to welcome feedback, identify errors, review your strategy and re-assess your operation. This process makes your stronger, more confident, and more likely to succeed the next time around.

Tell us something about you that may surprise your colleagues?

In addition to a natural interest in the business landscape, I am a creative at heart; at one point seriously considering a career in fashion, I always have a collage or canvas on the go, picking up landscape gardening along the way and I am very ambitious with my culinary skills.

I have a diverse and varied background as a global expat living in the UK, France, the US, Hong Kong, and Singapore; from professional wedding … Read more

[288289
9875
post-1846","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-mba-2026","tag-mba
["GET
