Through IBM I was engaged as a contract employee supporting American Express and PNC Bank in Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) roles, and also worked with Union Bank of India. These experiences gave me strong exposure to complex, regulated banking systems, quality processes, and cross-functional delivery.

Later I joined Curious Capital, a Bangalore-based investment management firm focused on DeFi, Web3, and traditional finance, where I spent two years as a Data Analyst supporting investment research and decision-making. This combination of enterprise banking and investment-firm experience has shaped my interest in how technology and data can drive better business outcomes.

Top achievements

• Successfully delivering quality and testing work on critical banking platforms while working as a contract resource through IBM for clients including American Express and PNC Bank.

• Building practical data-analysis capabilities at Curious Capital that supported investment research across both traditional finance and emerging areas such as DeFi and Web3.

• Developing the ability to move quickly between large, process-driven banking environments and a fast-moving investment firm, prioritising high-impact insights and clear communication with decision-makers.

• Continuously strengthening my technical and analytical skills while gaining exposure to how investment theses and capital allocation decisions are formed.

Why did you choose the Kent MBA?

The Kent MBA stands out because of its strong focus on strategic leadership, innovation, and responsible business practice all areas that complement my technical and analytical background. I am particularly drawn to the programme’s practical, collaborative learning environment and its emphasis on real-world impact. For someone who has worked in both large banking organisations and a smaller investment firm, the Kent MBA offers the ideal blend of strategic, financial, and commercial development. Its Triple Crown accreditation and diverse cohort of experienced professionals make it the right place to broaden my perspective and prepare for the next stage of my career.

MBA goals

I want to move beyond technical and analytical roles into positions where I can influence business direction and organisational performance.

My key goals include:

• Strengthening my commercial and financial acumen so I can make better strategic decisions

• Developing stronger frameworks for leadership, strategic thinking, and organisational change

• Expanding my professional network across diverse sectors and bringing new perspectives into fintech and investment management

• Building the confidence and capability to progress into broader business or product leadership roles.

What are your aspirations post MBA?

To step into strategic or leadership positions within fintech, investment management, or growth-stage technology companies, with responsibility for driving growth and creating long-term value.

I want to combine my technical and analytical background with stronger commercial insight to help shape product strategy, investment decisions, and organisational growth. Longer term, I see myself progressing into general management or product leadership positions, with responsibility for both performance and long-term value creation.

What is the best lesson you have learned in business?

The best lesson I have learned is that clarity and prioritisation matter more than activity. In both large banking environments and a fast-moving investment firm, I have seen that the ability to simplify complexity, focus on high-impact work, and communicate clearly creates far more value than simply being busy. Reliability and thoughtful decision-making compound over time.

Tell us something about you that may surprise your colleagues?

Despite working in structured banking and investment environments, I am deeply curious about emerging technologies like DeFi and Web3, and constantly look for ways data can drive better decisions beyond my formal role.

I am a technology and analytics professional with experience spanning quality assurance, software testing, and data analysis across large banking environments and a growth-stage investment … Read more

[288289
9875
post-1829","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-mba-2026","tag-mba
["GET
