Peter is an experienced leader with over 35 years in the financial services industry, with a proven track record in operational management up to Chief Operating Officer level and oversight of multinational teams. In recent years, he has shifted his focus to volunteering for non-profit organisations in the education and healthcare sectors, including serving at Board level as Treasurer.<\/p>\n

Throughout his career, Peter has built a broad skillset across product development, sales, client service, and project management, as well as leading major offshoring and outsourcing initiatives.<\/p>\n

Top achievements<\/strong><\/h3>\n

  1. Developed and executed a three-year location and productivity strategy for an American bank, delivering $10m in annualised recurring savings.<\/li>\n
  2. Planned and supported the doubling of client assets to \u00a3250bn, partnering with sales and driving exceptional client service to enable sustainable organic growth.<\/li>\n
  3. Led and inspired a team of 1,000 colleagues across 10 global locations, enhancing management diversity, strengthening engagement, and elevating client satisfaction.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    What attracted you to the MBA programme at Kent Business School and why?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    KBS stood out, from other universities, with its flexible and supportive approach, which enables professionals like me to balance study with work and personal commitments.<\/p>\n

    What are your motivations for undertaking an MBA<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    I wanted a programme that would complement and strengthen my practical management experience while helping me develop the skills needed to launch a new business venture.<\/p>\n

    What are your future aspirations?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    I aim to continue contributing at Board level and would ideally like to establish a new company with one of my daughters.<\/p>\n

    What is your best advice for those wanting to progress in business?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    Incremental change normally has no fanfare but, is often the most sustainable.<\/p>\n
