Miarizaka’s aspiration is to address the rural development challenges in Madagascar through scientific and market-based solutions. With a background in engineering, economics, and management related to agricultural and environmental sciences, he is driven to contribute meaningfully to the progress of Madagascar and its neighbouring countries in the sub-region.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Top achievements<\/h3>\n

  1. Building rural roads that enable producers to expand market opportunities in central Madagascar, particularly near the Anjozorobe-Angavo Forest Corridor.<\/li>\n
  2. Providing technical training and support to enhance farmers’ production capacity.<\/li>\n
  3. Monitoring the implementation and execution of key World Bank Group (WBG) projects related to agriculture and rural development across Madagascar.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    By pursuing a master’s programme in Business Administration, I aim to empower rural communities along the value chain, enabling them to access international market opportunities beyond the continent. The prestigious Chevening Scholarship, in conjunction with the triple-accredited Kent Business School, will equip me with the networks and resources necessary to realise these transformative changes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
