I am a well-presented, industrious and highly organised, directed and detail oriented professional with more than five years of practical experience. Possessing a huge range of abilities from providing support and leadership to junior staff right through to being able to successfully sell the money and products of the bank. Able to gain the trust of customers by interacting with people from all backgrounds, also having a proven record of contributing to the profitability of my current employers by generating income and revenue growth.
Outside of work, I like listening to music.
Achievements
- Despite the variances in different services rendered by multinational and indigenous banks, I have been able to convince reputable businesses to move their main operational accounts to my institution, the National Investment Bank – notable amongst them is Asanska Jewelleries Limited, a free zones company established in 2004, which deals in gold purchasing, refinery, sale and export and is rated category A in my institution and the highest at my branch
- I fronted as a banker, opening of accounts for a renowned company by name which is involved in construction and general merchandise
- I negotiated and facilitated a loan of Ghc 7,015,520.42 ($1.2m) for a reputable company which earned the bank huge margins of profit
What attracted you to the MBA programme at Kent Business School and why?
I was attracted to the MBA because it offered best array of modules for me to both improve my knowledge in my current interests and explore new areas of Business management I am less familiar with. I was particularly impressed by the connections the department has that will guarantee each student an invaluable work experience opportunity.
I welcome the opportunity for global study tours and I feel MBA will enhance my enterprise, consultancy and strategic thinking.
Aspiration
I want the Kent Business School MBA to enhance my marketability as a professional and increase the quality and quantity of job opportunities. I want to explore the latest international Business trends, apply the newest management tools and techniques and it to challenge me to improve business, teams and collaborations.
Advice
Make a plan, but be flexible. You need a few sets of plans, even if each is only a few pages. A business plan with an accompanying marketing outline, are important blueprints for success. They help you map out the major landmarks of the road ahead, define your success and break the journey into important metrics you can track your progress against.
