What attracted you to the MBA programme at Kent Business School and why?
Kent Business School offers a learning approach that aligns with my preference for face-to-face engagement and collaborative learning. I value the opportunity to build relationships and gain insights from personal interactions, which KBS facilitates exceptionally well.
What are your motivations for undertaking an MBA
Having served as a senior leader in the NHS for over 10 years without formal leadership training, I see the MBA as an opportunity to strengthen my strategic and management skills. Observing colleagues who have completed similar programmes, I recognise the value of structured leadership development and its impact on decision-making and innovation.
What are your future aspirations?
I aspire to evolve into a system leader, working across organisational boundaries to deliver integrated services for local populations. The future of healthcare demands collaboration and I aim to break down the barriers to achieve this.
What is your best advice for those wanting to progress in business?
Do your research, plan for all eventualities and learn from others, both those who succeeded and those who failed. Each experience offers valuable lessons.
“Never wait for the perfect opportunity before you jump, every opportunity brings you closer to your goal.”
