Vandit Sharma

Vandit is a product management and digital solutions professional, experienced in leading cross-functional teams to plan, build, launch, and manage B2B and B2C fintech products. The foundation of his professional pursuits came from his early years in education, as he was thrilled by tech, business and life. This he says motivated him to find or build an intersection that helped him in building the mind of an engineer, the heart of a designer and user, speech of a diplomat.

Inspired by his parents – he has seen them working for the best outcomes – taught him to push himself in every aspect of life. This helped him to recognise the values and ethics with which he leads all of life’s professional endeavours. ‘There is no denying that they have set an example for me to look at what kind of professional I want to be but also what kind of personality I want to build.’

What attracted you to the MBA programme at Kent Business School and why?

The curriculum here at KBS was one of the reasons to choose the MBA programme, and I am grateful to be accepted and studying here.

What are your motivations for undertaking an MBA

First and foremost, my parents are my biggest inspiration for a better future and a fulfilling career. Seeing them work day and night for better gave birth of a zeal to improve at every step. The MBA is for sure the next step in my career and growth, as it will transform me to a better leader and a professional. My seniors where I used to work, Decimal Technologies, have always been a great inspiration for continuous learning and growth.

What are your future aspirations?

My aspirations after completing the MBA at KBS are to get placed in big consultancies and firms and work towards my interests in digital transformation in the financial services and fintech industry.

What is your best advice for those wanting to progress in business?

Be clear, meticulous, and implement a T-based learning structure in your progression.

“Be the main character.”
