I am senior manager at 8×8 Inc. London, managing three highly technical teams across Europe.

I started my professional career as a software developer and after five years sitting behind the monitor, shifted sideways into the support realm and soon find myself working as technical lead.

I developed a passion for developing people and problem solving. I love working with people and developing their strength, I am also a keen data analyst using machine learning to gain insights of data pattern for forecasting and prediction,

Outside of work, I enjoy food, sport and motorcycling. I also adore writing software and playing computer games.

Achievements

  • As a technical, I influenced and drove changes with the company
  • Being promoted to Senior Manager of the entire EMEA Tier three team
  • With the help of my team we have created a very strong support team

What attracted you to the Kent MBA programme and why?

Kent Business school is highly ranked and located in Canterbury which is a lovely place to study. One of the other qualities is its innovative research intensity which was judged to be of international quality

What were your motivations for undertaking an MBA?

Despite a having a successful career, I often feel inexperienced in management and business strategy. I wanted to change this.

Aspiration

I feel a strong need to develop my career in Business Administration. This will get me ready for the next big opportunity and to be able to apply new knowledge and skills gained during my studies in my current and future role.

I believe studying and gaining an MBA qualification will improve my day-to-day managing role and add value to my 8×8 and the staff I currently work with.
