I currently work for the Pharmaceutical company Thornton & Ross (STADA) as a Regional Market Access Manager. My role involves product launch strategy and working with the NHS to support local health economies become more cost effective and cost efficient. I have a real passion for data and analytics and love that part of my role. I really enjoy data visualisation and have recently been using Power BI to visualisation different data sets within on our organisation.

Outside of work I have just completed my Certificate in Marketing with the CIM where I wrote a digital marketing strategy for Brewdog aimed at Generation Z. I play Rugby for my local team and also enjoy golf. I like to run half marathons (this year I have run Charing, Dartford and Crystal Palace twice. I love reading about business and sport. I serve with the British Army reserve with 3rd Battalion Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment.

Achievements

Recently I lead on a project to redesign our external business intelligence dashboards which were rolled out in February 2021. The project was just under five months and I led on everything from design to implementation. The Success of the project completely changed the way we business plan as the dashboards allow stakeholders to pull insights rapidly. Following this I also lead of various projects designing our own bespoke dashboards with Power BI.

What attracted you to the Kent MBA programme and why?

The promotional video blew me away.

What were your motivations for undertaking an MBA?

To progress my career into senior management but also to give me confidence to start an analytics business.

Aspiration

To head up a franchise in another part of the world then to progress to Senior VP/Commercial Ops Director for the UK and Europe.

Advice

Understand the three core fundamentals of your business and and prioritise your most important tasks. Adapt a “Will it make the boat go fastest” mentality.
