Celebrating Award Nomination

The Technical Services team based in Engineering and Computing, have been nominated and shortlisted for the ‘Best Team Award’ at this year’s Kent Staff Recognition Awards!

Being nominated for an award offers well deserved recognition for the incredible work that has been happening and the impact that it has had. It reflects the dedication, teamwork, and commitment that every member of the team brings to supporting students, staff and the wider university community.

The team has worked together to find creative ways to collaborate and offer bespoke support to others. An example of this is the recent creation of a welcome video to introduce the team to new students. It’s just one example of the care, enthusiasm, and collaboration that define their work.

The Senior Technical Services Manager, Ryan Morrow, has said how incredibly proud he is of everything the team has achieved and for the genuine spirit that they bring, which makes working together such a joy.
