Rama Taimour was a student with us over the summer, she studied Business in a Dynamic Environment, here is an account of her time:
This summer I was lucky enough to attend Kent’s business summer course, I can honestly say that I have learned so much in such short time. During the two weeks we had the privilege of being taught by the best professors from Georgetown University-Washington DC and from the University of Kent-Canterbury, the overall experience was amazing, the professors shared their personal experiences with us, and we were able to discuss different topics in business, from law, to marketing, we discussed all! The main objective of the course was writing an editorial related to International business which was very challenging, as I personally have never written an editorial, and editorials do not exceed 700 words. We were assisted and guided by a group of talented people that worked at the University of Kent as well as our professors. Now, I can confidently say that I can write an editorial about any subject- not only in international business.
It is not only the course and the taught material that I enjoyed; I met a wonderful group of people and made friends from different countries, got to explore the beauty of Canterbury, Whitstable, and London through trips led by Kent’s student alumni, and got to experience what it was like to study Masters at the University of Kent.
I already have suggested Kent’s summer courses to my University in Jordan, as I believe that plenty of other students will enjoy the experience and will truly benefit from it.
