It features experimental and rule-breaking map illustrations by Dr Maxwell Roberts, a researcher at the University of Essex.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition is sponsored by the Diagrams 2012 Conference, an international forum for the study of diagrams, running at the University of Kent from 2-6 July.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Conference organiser, Dr Peter Rodgers, Senior Lecturer in the University\u2019s School of Computing, commented: \u2018Maps in all their different guises fascinate people all over the world. This exhibition is a unique opportunity to see the results of Maxwell Roberts\u2019 extensive research on fresh approaches to map design.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition runs from 3 \u2013 27 July and will be open Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
