Whilst the majority of work dated from the last two centuries, 16<\/span><sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: medium\"> C pieces by Diana Ghisi helped to delineate the full history of female European printmakers. The selected artists did not necessarily work solely in print, however this exhibition investigated the material potentials of printmaking, either as the core focus of their studio practice or in relation to their primary medium.
