\"UNDEREXPOSED\"<\/a>Underexposed: Female Artists and the Medium of Print<\/span><\/p>\n

16 May – 19 June 2014<\/p>\n

Underexposed<\/span><\/i>\u00a0surveyed the ways in which prominent female artists have used printmaking. Whilst the majority of work dated from the last two centuries, 16<\/span>th<\/span><\/sup> C pieces by Diana Ghisi helped to delineate the full history of female European printmakers. The selected artists did not necessarily work solely in print, however this exhibition investigated the material potentials of printmaking, either as the core focus of their studio practice or in relation to their primary medium. This ambitious collection of work examined <\/span>a<\/span><\/span> diverse and compelling breadth of technique and subject matter chosen by the forty female artists whom are represented.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
