The Outreach and Widening Participation Team have opened applications for vacancies on the 2022-23 University of Kent Student Ambassador Scheme <\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n As ambassadors, Kent students are given opportunities to be involved in a range of challenging and rewarding activities and projects, which are also designed to help them develop transferable employability skills, while greatly enhancing the student experience. Students can apply for positions on either the Central Ambassador Scheme <\/strong><\/a>or their Academic Division Ambassador Scheme<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0or even both!<\/p>\n A series of ‘What is a Student Ambassador?<\/strong>‘ information workshops, designed to help students learn more about the scheme as well as picking up useful application tips, will be held on the following dates:<\/p>\n Interested students can email outreach@kent.ac.uk<\/strong><\/a> \u00a0for more information about the scheme or to enquire about the workshops.<\/p>\n Colleagues in Academic Divisions are actively encouraged to share information and promote the Ambassador Scheme<\/strong><\/a> widely with their respective students, and direct them to the Ambassador Scheme website<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0for further information.<\/p>\n Key Dates for current applications:<\/strong><\/p>\n Central Ambassador Scheme –<\/b>\u00a0Applications are open from Friday 16th September – Wednesday 5th October 2022.<\/p>\n Academic Divisional Ambassador Scheme<\/b>\u00a0– Application dates vary.
