The BAME Staff Network at the University of Kent is honoured to host Dr Rose Hudson-Wilkin, the Bishop of Dover, as keynote speaker at this year’s International Women’s Day on the 8th March 2021.
This year’s International Women’s Day campaign theme is: #ChooseToChallenge (choosing to challenge and call out gender bias and inequity).
Dr Hudson-Wilkin is the first Black woman to become a Church of England Bishop, and is also a Chaplain to the Queen. Dr Hudson-Wilkin will be sharing her thoughts on issues of gender and race.
The event will take place on Monday 8th March 2021 from 5:30pm to 6:30pm and a link to access the event online will be published in due course.
We look forward to seeing you there.
