Congratulations to Emma Mires-Richards (Humanities Liaison Librarian), Sarah Field (Sciences Liaison Librarian) and Jade Sanderson (Diversity Mark Student Researcher) at the University of Kent for winning the ALISS Quarterly Prize for their article (See yourself on the shelf: a collaborative approach for diversifying library collections) which can be found here.
ALISS (Association of Librarians and Information Professionals in the Social Sciences) stated the article was ‘a great example of promoting well-being as well as educating a wider audience about history and the library resources’
If you’d like to find out how staff at the University of Kent worked with academic staff and student researchers on a Diversity Mark project to increase the inclusivity of reading lists, then the article is definitely worth a read.
