Student Success Dashboard – QlikView Phase 2

The second version of the Student Success QlikView dashboard, which can provide data about school cohorts, is released with added functionality, and granularity. Access to the SSP Dashboard is strictly limited, so this is your opportunity to see what data is available to you and find out who has access in your department. Training for the dashbvoard will be provided to users after this event.

SStaRT: Student Success Resources Toolkit

This is a chance to see the Toolkit as it goes live to all university of Kent staff. Part of the Student Success Project’s mainstreaming programme, SStaRT will provide all schools with an opportunity to see what kind of initiatives might work with their students, what effort and costs were involved in getting them off the ground, and lessons learned. It will also provide a space for schools and departments to share their initiatives so that we can all benefit from each other’s experiences.

Progress Profiles

The event will also be an opportunity to see Progress Profiles, with the intention they will be available for use from September.

A Progress Profile is a report that gives students insight into their performance and engagement through their learning journey; providing a tangible feedback on activities to date in a visualised, easily understood format.

Progress profiles have been designed, prototyped and refined with the purpose of helping to inform and augment student understanding and the academic advisor system.

Come along to find out:

                –              What do Progress Profiles look like?

                –              How often are they generated?

                –              How might they be distributed to Students and relevant staff?

                –              How will feedback be captured, and how might they be improved in the future?

This event is free and open to all UoK staff.

Come along to find out how you can get involved with the Student Success Project and how you can use these initiatives.
