As it is a stimulant it can make stress worse so try to limit your intake of caffeine or perhaps you could try herbal tea instead?<\/li>\n<li>Eat a well-balanced diet: at the time (and especially on a student budget) takeaways can feel like a great solution but eating a nice balanced diet really helps to reduce the symptoms of stress &#8211; even the time it takes to cook a meal helps to take your mind off things that may be worrying about you. Try experimenting with funky recipes! Gordon Ramsey eat your heart out!<\/li>\n<li>Take regular exercise: even just a late night walk while listening to your ipod can do wonders for your mood and help you to clear your head and organise your thoughts.<\/li>\n<li>Get a good nights sleep: as tempting as it may be to stay up and watch just one more episode of Game of Thrones, a good nights sleep will make you feel refreshed and ready to face the world in the morning!<\/li>\n<li>Do something for yourself every day: it&#8217;s important to look after number one so make sure you do at least one thing every day that you love to do e.g read a book, watch a film, toboggan down the stairs on your duvet &#8211; whatever you fancy!<\/li>\n<li>Try some relaxation techniques<\/li>\n<li>Talk to someone: a problem shared is a problem halved!
