All industrial placements are paid and start between June \u2013 August and last for a 12 month period.<\/p>\n

These roles are for undergraduates looking for a 12 month year in industry placement.<\/p>\n

British Heart Foundation Fashion Show (Kent Union Student Activities)<\/u><\/a><\/strong><\/h5>\n

Monday 25th January 2016 12pm – 1.30pm. Come and strut your stuff in a British Heart Foundation fashion show organised by the Estates department on Monday 25th January 2016. The British Heart Foundation (BHF) will be donating clothes for the event and we will be showing three looks; day, evening and professional. BHF will also be donating 10 bags of clothes to the Fashion Society for them to revamp and be judged. The winning outfit will be displayed in Canterbury BHF shop window. For this event they are looking for 15 models who are happy to walk on a ground level catwalk. You will be provided with your outfits and shoes will also be provided (although you can wear your own if you would prefer). Please come along to the event dressed in jeans and a plain t-shirt. All shapes, sizes and genders welcome! They also need 5 backstage assistants to help behind the scenes throughout the event. The event will be taking place in Elliot Hall and you will need to be available from 12pm to 1.30pm. To take part, please complete the online form. You must register in advance for this event. Spread Some Christmas Cheer: Post Pals Event – Brightening the Lives of Sick Children (Kent Union Student Activities)<\/u><\/a><\/strong><\/h5>\n

Tuesday 8th December. 11am – 2pm (Drop In) Spare a little time and spread some Christmas cheer to sick children by making and sending your own Christmas Cards and small gifts through the charity Post Pals. Children fighting for their lives don\u2019t often have much to smile about but you can change that by sending them a cheery homemade Christmas card or handmade crafty gift. Come along to the drop in card making session on Tuesday 8 December between 11am and 2pm at the Student Media Centre Foyer. All materials and postage will be provided.
