Get some valuable advice for personal development on topics such as CV writing, interview tips, work experience, learning what employers want from graduates, and much more! There will also be several large fairs, the Work and Study Abroad Fair (Tuesday 27 Octoer), the JobShop Recruitment Fair (Thursday 29 October), the Careers Fair (Tuesday 3 November) and the Kent Opportunities Fair (Thursday 5 November).<\/p>\n

Thursday 29 October 2015, London, 2-4:30pm \u2013 tickets \u00a395 <\/b>This Employment Seminar will reveal to participating student and graduate delegates what they need to know to secure their ideal job or internship in the policy and corporate sectors. The eye-opening techniques, tips and knowledge at this seminar is relevant to any high paying jobs, in major corporations, the civil service, parliament, the media, working for an MP, CEOs, political parties, NGOs and law firms. Space are limited at the Seminar and registrations to attend are on a first come first serve basis. Volunteering:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Canterbury Foodbank Seasonal Packing (Kent Union Student Activities)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Volunteers wanted to help pack food parcels at the Canterbury Foodbank. These food parcels will then be distributed to those in need over the Christmas period. Canterbury Foodbank provides emergency parcels for people in short term financial crisis across the Canterbury District. The sessions will take place on Thursdays between 2pm – 4pm over the course of five weeks: Thursday 19th November, Thursday 26th November, Thursday 3rd December, Thursday 10th December and Thursday 17th December.<\/p>\n
