{"id":1309,"date":"2021-03-11T16:22:50","date_gmt":"2021-03-11T16:22:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/studentexperience\/?p=1309"},"modified":"2021-03-11T16:22:50","modified_gmt":"2021-03-11T16:22:50","slug":"fdm-digital-bootcamp-in-celebration-of-international-womens-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/studentexperience\/2021\/03\/11\/fdm-digital-bootcamp-in-celebration-of-international-womens-day\/","title":{"rendered":"FDM Digital Bootcamp: In Celebration of International Women\u2019s Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/studentexperience\/files\/2021\/02\/FDM.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1302\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/studentexperience\/files\/2021\/02\/FDM.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"523\" height=\"299\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>FDM Group are proud to announce that we are now taking applications for our <strong>Digital Bootcamp: In Celebration of International Women\u2019s Day<\/strong> from <strong>final year students and graduates from any degree discipline.\u00a0<\/strong> The bootcamp is designed to enhance digital skills and provide a fast-track opportunity to the final stages of the FDM Graduate Recruitment Programme!<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Dates and times for the Digital Bootcamp sessions are:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Tuesday 23<sup>rd<\/sup> March, 11am-12pm \u2013 Welcome Session <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Tuesday 23<sup>rd<\/sup> March, 2pm-2:45pm \u2013 Elevate Network <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Tuesday 30<sup>th<\/sup> March, 2-3pm \u2013 Coding for Beginners: HTML <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Tuesday 6<sup>th<\/sup> April, 2-3pm \u2013 Coding for Beginners: CSS <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Tuesday 20<sup>th<\/sup> April, 2-4pm \u2013 Webpage Showcase<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Tuesday 27<sup>th<\/sup> April \u2013 Fast-track Interviews (scheduled based on availability)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><u>Criteria to apply:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On track to achieve\/have achieved a minimum of a 2.2 bachelors with honours degree<\/li>\n<li>Eligible to work in the UK<\/li>\n<li>Passionate about pursuing a career in the technology industry<\/li>\n<li>Geographically flexible within the UK<\/li>\n<li>Able to support yourself financially during the training period<\/li>\n<li>Able to commit to the full 2-year graduate careers programme<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>To apply, please send CV and cover letter (up to 250 words) about why you are interested in participating in the Bootcamp to <a href=\"mailto:universitypartners@fdmgroup.com\">universitypartners@fdmgroup.com<\/a> <strong>by 4pm on Thursday 18<sup>th<\/sup> March <\/strong>with the subject<strong> \u2018Digital Bootcamp Application\u2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>*Please note: <\/em><\/strong><em>Applications may be closed early in the event of high demand.
