Student Services, Information Services and Kent Union have created a reading list for students and staff who want to discover new books and resources for Disability History Month<\/p>\n
From 18 November to 18 December is the nationally celebrated Disability History month, and Student Services, Information Services and Kent Union have curated a reading list for #DHMKent21<\/a> which features over 45 titles, resources and links. They explore and celebrate achievements and challenges through experiences of disablement both historically and in the world today.<\/p>\n Some of these resources are available to borrow from the Templeman or the Drill Hall libraries, or to purchase from Blackwell\u2019s book shop on the Canterbury campus, whilst others you will need to source yourself. We have also included multimedia and audio-visual resources such as podcasts, online free events, radio programmes and TED talks. We hope you enjoy them, and that they might provide some interesting points for conversation or deepening of your knowledge. Crazy busy with deadlines right now?
