The Employability Festival starts soon, where you can attend events both in-person and online, including our showcase South East Virtual Careers Fair.
Do you want to discover careers in a range of sectors? Or learn how to ace an interview? The Employability Festival is the perfect opportunity to develop your job-seeking skills and gain an insight into different careers from graduate employers, industry experts and Kent alumni. Receive expert advice on the key things that can make you stand out in the recruitment market and, you can earn Employability Points!
Take advantage of the range of activities taking place, which will help you to take the steps towards your career goals. Topics include:
- Practical assessment centres
- Creating a great CV
- Interview skills
- Applying for graduate jobs and placements
- Diversity and inclusion events
- Career insights into: Finance, Law, Tech, Investment management, Teaching, Business, Arts and more!
The EmpFest programme is available on the Careers and Employability Service website. The great news is that the majority of events are open to students from all stages and schools. Some have limited spaces, so book your place ASAP. Most on-campus events will also be live streamed and recorded, but please check the event description.
