The Employability Points (EP) Scheme is unique to the University of Kent and is focused on rewarding you with experiences of work for completing co-curricular activities

Did you know that if you get involved in any co-curricular activity – which could including attending events, working part-time, joining student groups, volunteering, to name a few – you can log this on MyFolio. When you do this, the EP team will review your activities and allocate you Employability Points!

You have until the 14th March 2022 to log as many activities as possible and if you earn enough points, you can apply for exclusive rewards. These include:

  • Paid summer internships (200 points required)
  • Short-term work experience (150 points required)
  • Work shadowing opportunities (100 points required)
  • Skills development session and experience days (75 points required).

All EP rewards are undertaken during the summer break and there are opportunities available across multiple sectors and industries!

If you would like to find out more, please visit the Employability Points page online or contact the team via employabilitypoints@kent.ac.uk.
