Templeman Library Reading List<\/strong>: our DHM 2025 reading list<\/a>\u00a0has been created for those who want to feed their literary curiosity and discover new books and resources outside of their academic studies. We hope you enjoy them but if you feel something is missing then\u00a0let us know\u00a0and you can help add to this collection.<\/p>\n

Come and visit a unique exhibition in the Library Cafe during Disability History Month!<\/h2>\n

This is ME! Children and Young People\u2019s Creative Voi<\/a>ces<\/a><\/strong> \u00a0is an exhibition where children and young people who are disabled or care experienced reflect on who they are, the people, objects and spaces around them and what is important through painting, drawing, poetry, dance, music and stories around the topics of \u00a0\u2018home\u2019 \u2018identity\u2019 and \u2018adventure\u2019.<\/p>\n

Running from 14- 28 November, the exhibition<\/a> is part of the Public Engagement strand of the Living Assessments<\/em> project. These activities are organised by the University of Kent and the National Children’s Bureau. The reflections displayed in this exhibition are also available via an online gallery<\/a><\/p>\n

The <\/a>Living Assessments<\/a><\/em>\u00a0project<\/a> is a partnership between the University of Kent, the National Children\u2019s Bureau and the University of Cambridge, which explores the experiences and impact of health and social care assessments on children and families. It is funded by the Wellcome Trust.<\/p>\n
