The main Park Wood Road is\u00a0<strong>20mph<\/strong>, but once you turn into the estate roads, it drops to 10mph\u00a0<span class=\"fontSizeXLarge\">\u2013\u00a0<\/span>and for good reason.<\/p>\n<p class=\"noSpacingAbove spacingBelow\" data-text-type=\"withSpacing\">These roads aren\u2019t just for vehicles; they\u2019re shared by hundreds of students who live in Park Wood, along with staff, visitors, and families who may be heading to the Kent Indoor Tennis and Events Arena, sports fields, Oaks Nursery and beyond.<\/p>\n<p class=\"noSpacingAbove spacingBelow\" data-text-type=\"withSpacing\">Keeping to the 10mph limit helps make sure everyone can move around Park Wood safely.<\/p>\n<p class=\"noSpacingAbove spacingBelow\" data-text-type=\"withSpacing\">We also ask that everyone continues to\u00a0<strong>drive carefully and responsibly across the whole of the University of Kent campus<\/strong>\u00a0to help keep our community safe.<\/p>\n<p class=\"noSpacingAbove spacingBelow\" data-text-type=\"withSpacing\">Thanks for doing your bit to keep Park Wood, and the wider campus, safe for all.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A quick reminder for everyone driving through the Park Wood estate: the speed limit\u00a0inside\u00a0the residential area is\u00a010mph.
