The following digital facilities inside the library are currently affected:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"490\" data-end=\"516\"><strong data-start=\"490\" data-end=\"514\">Laptop Loan Cabinets<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"519\" data-end=\"542\"><strong data-start=\"519\" data-end=\"540\">Library self-issue machine<\/strong> (to check-out books)<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"545\" data-end=\"570\"><strong data-start=\"545\" data-end=\"568\">Book Sorter machine <\/strong>(to return books)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"572\" data-end=\"616\">This means that students are currently unable to use the self-issue machines, borrow new laptops or return books using the sorter machine.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"572\" data-end=\"616\"><strong>What you can do instead:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Visit the pop-up in the Welcome Hall to check-out physical books.<\/li>\n<li>Continue to use physical books within the Library<\/li>\n<li>Access extensive collection of <a href=\"https:\/\/librarysearch.kent.ac.uk\/client\/en_GB\/kent-e\/\">digital resources<\/a> (incl. e-books)<\/li>\n<li>Return books via the <strong data-start=\"784\" data-end=\"797\">book bins<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Return laptops at the <strong data-start=\"824\" data-end=\"840\">Welcome Desk<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Continue to use Student PC&#8217;s around the Library<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"920\" data-end=\"1094\">We\u2019re sorry for the disruption and appreciate your patience while we work to restore these systems. All other services in the <a href=\"https:\/\/student.kent.ac.uk\/studies\/library\">Templeman Library<\/a> remain fully operational.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"920\" data-end=\"1094\">For the latest information on this issue, check the University\u2019s <a class=\"decorated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/status.kent.ac.uk\/?utm_source=chatgpt.com\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"204\" data-end=\"253\">Service Status page<\/a>, which provides current service status updates and alerts.
