Working in collaboration with Kent Students\u2019 Union and University of Kent, students on Advisory Boards help to plan University activities and campaigns, contribute to enhancing University student support and services, and make recommendations to feed into changes to University policies and practices.<\/p>\n<p>Students who join Advisory Boards will earn Employability Points, and will be compensated for their time and active participation.<\/p>\n<p>Joining an Advisory Board is a chance to actively contribute to positive change on topics that interest you, and also provides experience to help you develop your leadership and communication skills.<\/p>\n<p>Current Advisory Boards focus on the following student areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>International Student experience<\/li>\n<li>Wellbeing<\/li>\n<li>Widening Participation<\/li>\n<li>Postgraduate Research<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Now recruiting:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/student.kent.ac.uk\/news\/741\/be-the-voice-of-kents-global-community\">International Student Advisory Board.<\/a> Applications close Wednesday 22 October<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/student.kent.ac.uk\/news\/735\/applications-now-open-for-wellbeing-student-advisory-board\">Wellbeing Student Advisory Board<\/a>.
