Ready to take the next step towards your future career?<\/strong> This autumn, the University of Kent is helping students turn career ambitions into action with Career Ready Week<\/strong> and the Autumn Careers Fair<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Whether you know exactly what career you want to pursue or are still exploring your options, these events are a great opportunity to build your confidence, meet employers and discover where your degree could take you.<\/p>\n

Career Ready Week: 19 \u2013 23 October

Explore opportunities to develop your career readiness, hear from professionals and gain practical advice to help you stand out in a competitive graduate job market. You don\u2019t need to have your career mapped out already, <\/strong>Career Ready Week is open to students at all stages of their career journey.<\/p>\n

Events will be focused on four key themes:<\/strong><\/h5>\n

\nHelping international students understand and navigate graduate recruitment, explore opportunities and approach the graduate labour market with confidence.<\/p>\n

\nExploring how AI is changing recruitment and the workplace \u2013 and how you can use it effectively and appropriately in your job search.<\/p>\n

\ud83c\udfaf Applications, Assessments & Interviews<\/em><\/strong>
\nPractical, employer-informed sessions covering the recruitment journey \u2013 from strong applications through to interviews, online assessments and assessment centres.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udca1 Industry Insight: What Is Working in\u2026 Really Like?<\/em><\/strong>
\nBringing you closer to industry through conversations with employers, professionals and alumni about different careers, sectors and routes in.<\/p>\n

Meet employers at the Autumn Careers Fair: 22 October<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Thursday 22 October, 11am \u2013 3pm in Colyer-Fergusson Hall, Canterbury campus.<\/p>\n

One of the highlights of the week is the Autumn Careers Fair<\/strong> \u2014 your chance to meet employers face-to-face and find out more about the opportunities available to you.<\/p>\n

Meet employers recruiting for – graduate roles – placements – part-time jobs – internships – volunteering<\/strong><\/p>\n

There\u2019ll also be a CV drop-in, Prep for the Fair Station and browse FREE<\/strong> workwear at our \u2018Dress for Success\u2019 rails!<\/p>\n

You don\u2019t have to be a final-year student to attend<\/strong>. Exploring career options early can help you make informed choices about placements, extracurricular activities, work experience and the skills you want to develop during your time at Kent.<\/p>\n

Calm admission – the first half an hour (11-11:30am) will be our calm admission period, we know that a career fair can be daunting. This is intended to give you time to meet with employers and organisations in a less crowded space before our main event begins.<\/p>\n
