Events cover all the topics you\u2019d imagine and more &#8211; from opportunities, interview skills, CV\u2019s and cover letters to specialist career path insight with external employers, help with workwear clothing, and industry and professional practice experience with a Year-In.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Find part-time, temporary, and seasonal work<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kent\u2019s<a href=\"https:\/\/student.kent.ac.uk\/careers\/career-planning\/work-experience\/jobshop\"> Jobshop<\/a> help you find flexible work opportunities including <strong>part-time, temporary and seasonal roles<\/strong>, both <strong>on-campus <\/strong>and with <strong>local employers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>These roles can help you gain valuable workplace skills while earning over the summer. You can also access support with CVs, applications, and interview preparation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gain experience and build your CV<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Summer is the perfect time to explore internships, work experience, volunteering, and employer projects. These build your employability skills and prepare you for future applications.<\/p>\n<p>You can search opportunities through the <a href=\"https:\/\/student.kent.ac.uk\/careers\/uni-kent-careers-hub\">Uni Kent Careers Hub<\/a> and discover roles across a wide range of industries.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prepare for graduate jobs or postgraduate study<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re approaching graduation, the Careers and Employability Service can help you plan your next steps and prepare for work when you graduate.
