Do I need to move out over the spring vacation?<\/h2>\n
If you live in self-catered accommodation, you can stay on campus over the spring break. This is included in your 38-week accommodation contract.<\/p>\n
Students living in\u00a0Becket Court and Keynes College<\/strong>\u00a0must vacate their rooms from\u00a0Saturday 21 March to Saturday 11 April 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n As part of your 31-week contract, your room must be\u00a0cleared of belongings during this period<\/strong>. If you need somewhere to store your items, take a look at our\u00a0storage guide<\/a>\u00a0before you travel.<\/p>\n If you live in Becket Court or Keynes College (Blocks F, G, H and I) and would like to remain on campus, you\u2019re in luck! You can book vacation accommodation online.<\/p>\n Bookings must be made by\u00a0Friday 13 March 2026<\/strong>\u00a0to allow time for arrangements. Vacation accommodation is available in Darwin and Woolf College for the full 21-day period.<\/p>\n Darwin College:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a3483 \u2013 shared facilities<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Woolf College:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a3756 \u2013 en-suite<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Although we\u2019re super excited at the idea of sitting out for lunch and seeing the campus come to life with daffodils, we\u2019ll also be sad to see some of our students depart their accommodations for spring vacation. Yes, you heard correctly, not all students living in campus accommodation can stay during the vacation periods.<\/p>\n Before heading off for the break, take a few minutes to run through this checklist to make sure your accommodation is in tip-top condition for your return in April.<\/p>\n Pack up your belongings and take important items with you, or arrange secure storage<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Turn off and unplug all electrical items (except the fridge)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Put the rubbish out and remove any perishable food from the fridge \u2014 no one wants to come back to a mouldy piece of cheese or lumpy milk<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Close windows (leave vents open) and lock all doors<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Collect any mail or parcels from your letterbox or reception<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n If you live in\u00a0part-catered accommodation<\/strong>, you must return your fob to reception by\u00a010:00 on Saturday 21 March 2026<\/strong>\u00a0so it can be reactivated for next term. It\u2019s an easy one to forget, so make sure it\u2019s on your leaving checklist.<\/p>\n Meal plans do not run during vacation periods.
