We\u2019re partnering with Too Good To Go to reduce food waste on campus<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We\u2019re pleased to announce a new partnership with\u00a0<\/span>Too Good To Go<\/span><\/a>, a surplus food rescue platform that helps redistribute unsold food and reduce food waste across the Canterbury campus.<\/span><\/p>\n

Through this partnership, perfectly good food that would otherwise go to waste at the end of the day will be made available to students and staff at a reduced price, supporting both affordability and sustainability.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is Too Good To Go?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Too Good To Go connects food businesses with customers who are happy to purchase surplus food at a lower cost. Food is sold via the\u00a0<\/span>Too Good To Go app<\/span><\/a>\u00a0as a \u201cSurprise Bag\u201d – a discounted selection of food that varies depending on what surplus is available that day.<\/span><\/p>\n

All food meets the same quality and food safety standards as our regular offering.<\/span><\/p>\n

How does it work?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Using Too Good To Go is quick and easy:<\/span><\/p>\n

    We list surplus food on the\u00a0<\/span>Too Good To Go app<\/span><\/a>\u00a0toward the end of the trading day<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    You purchase a Surprise Bag through the app at a significantly reduced price<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    You collect your bag from the outlet at the till during the specified pickup window<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    Payment is handled through the app at the time of purchase<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  5. \n

    Enjoy your Surprise Bag! Contents vary depending on the surplus available that day.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Too Good To Go is used by food businesses around the world, and we\u2019re excited to bring it to campus. From 16 February 2026, Surprise Bags will be available at:<\/span><\/p>\n
