The Kent Falcons student sports team are proud to announce that several outstanding players have been selected for the <\/span>GB American Football Performance Squad<\/span><\/b>, a remarkable achievement that reflects both individual excellence and the strength of the University’s sports programme.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This recognition follows a season of exceptional performances from the Falcons,\u00a0showcasing\u00a0the depth of talent being developed across our university sports clubs.\u00a0Selection\u00a0to the GB Performance Squad is a testament to each athlete\u2019s dedication, consistency, and impact at the highest level of university sport.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Kent Falcons community could not be prouder of these athletes and their achievements. Their success highlights the quality of coaching, performance environment, and commitment to excellence that defines the Falcons programme.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Special recognition also goes to\u00a0<\/span>Coach Ben Crabbe<\/span><\/b>, whose leadership and guidance have played a vital role in developing these players and supporting their progression to national honours.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Kent Falcons Head Coach <\/span>Coach\u00a0V<\/span><\/b>\u00a0praised the group\u2019s achievement:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMy guys! A huge congratulations on your selection to the GB team. We are all incredibly proud of you. Your hard work, discipline, and commitment have paid off \u2014 you saw an opportunity and took it.\u00a0<\/em>Keep pushing, keep learning, keep fighting, keep finding a way, and continue to represent the Falcons with pride. Well done.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The players themselves reflected on what the\u00a0selection\u00a0means to them.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Josh Jones<\/span><\/b>\u00a0said:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMaking the GB team showed me I have a future in the sport beyond university. Despite injuries and self-doubt,\u00a0I\u2019m\u00a0grateful for the chance to\u00a0represent\u00a0my country and for the support around me.\u201d<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Josh Bradley<\/span><\/b>\u00a0added:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s\u00a0taken work and dedication to not letting myself settle for just enough. After being rejected once, this means everything to me. It shows that all the hard work pays off.\u201d<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sean Jinadu\u00a0<\/span><\/b>added:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Making the GB team has taken a lot of hard work and dedication, it\u2019s the result of working on and off the field. Alongside this my coaches Ian, Rob and Milo have helped me sharpen my skills and develop both technically and mentally.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Bolu\u00a0Arogunadade<\/span><\/b>\u00a0added:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Getting to this level in Great Britain took a lot of determination and grit. Being selected is a reminder that hard work pays off and dreams can become reality.”<\/em><\/p>\n
