(PAL)<\/h3>\n<p>Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) is a friendly, informal support scheme where trained students from higher years run regular sessions to help you succeed in your course. PAL sessions give you the chance to ask questions, share study strategies, and build confidence in a relaxed, non-judgemental environment \u2013 led by a student who\u2019s been in your position before.<\/p>\n<h3>What\u2019s happening in PAL this week?<\/h3>\n<p>This week, students have been discussing how to approach their assignments. This includes developing their understanding of the assessment brief, breaking the task into manageable steps, and making use of planning tools such as the assignment survival kit.<\/p>\n<h3>Join us for our PAL Focus Group on Wednesday 4\u00a0February!<\/h3>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Next week,\u00a0we\u2019ll\u00a0be hosting a focus group to explore how students could\u00a0benefit\u00a0from PAL and what\u00a0you\u2019d\u00a0like the scheme to look like. We want to make PAL even better and ensure it works well for both PAL Leaders and the students who attend sessions.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Whether\u00a0you&#8217;ve\u00a0heard of the scheme or not,\u00a0we\u2019d\u00a0love you to come along and share your views.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">When:<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0Wednesday 4 February<\/span><br \/>\n<b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Time:<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> 11:30 \u2013 13:00<\/span><br \/>\n<b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Where:<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0Templeman Seminar Room 1<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">If you can, please email\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"mailto:saspal@kent.ac.uk\">saspal@kent.ac.uk<\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0to let us know\u00a0you\u2019re\u00a0coming\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0but you\u2019re also very welcome to just turn up on the day.
