Staying in campus accommodation<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Autumn Term finishes on Friday 12 December.\u00a0Let us know if you\u2019ll be staying in your campus accommodation over the winter break in Canterbury<\/a> by Wednesday 10 December. If you are staying at Pier Quays, Unite Students will be in touch with you.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t forget if you\u2019re living in part-catered accommodation and want to stay on campus over the winter break, you\u2019ll need to book vacation accommodation<\/a>\u00a0at least one week before you\u2019re due to move out. Please note all meal plans (including\u00a0Flex Catering Packages)\u00a0pause from Saturday 13 December 2025 to Saturday 10 January 2026. Vacation accommodation is available on a self-catered basis only and you will have access to a kitchen to cook your own meals.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s on?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

If you\u2019re staying on campus, or you live locally, check out the\u00a0winter break events page<\/a>\u00a0which includes festive themed events before term finishes as well as a few events happening over the winter break. There are also links to events taking place off campus in Canterbury and Medway.<\/p>\n

The ResLife team are running a few events including cupcake decorating and a festive movie night (both on the last day of term, Friday 12 December), plus a Family Feud style quiz (13 Dec) and hot chocolate and board games night (14 Dec). You\u2019re welcome to come along to any of these events to meet others who are also staying on or near campus.<\/p>\n

There’s even a chance to spend Christmas day with others staying on campus<\/a> (whether you celebrate or not) with games, hot drinks and films in Woolf Common Room.<\/p>\n

Developing Global Leadership short course (including a Harry Potter Studios visit!)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Running from Mon 15 -Weds 17 December,\u00a0Developing Global Leadership<\/a>\u00a0is a short course where you will explore your own leadership in our changing world and discover how to leverage your unique cultural and academic experiences.<\/p>\n

View the timetable<\/a>\u00a0for this 3 day course which also allows you to end your term in truly magical style as we\u2019ve included a winter-themed day our at the\u00a0Warner Bros. Harry Potter Studio, London<\/a>\u00a0on Tuesday 16 December.<\/p>\n

The cost for this course is\u00a0\u00a3120\u00a0and includes all tuition, entrance fee and travel to the Warner Bros Harry Potter Studio Tour. Places are limited. For any questions about the course, please email\u00a0GlobalLearning@kent.ac.uk<\/a><\/p>\n
