Students and staff are invited to attend a short ceremony to mark Remembrance Day on Wednesday 11 November to honour members of the armed forces who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
The gathering will take place on the lawn outside the Registry Building (library side entrance). Please arrive at 10:50am so the ceremony can begin promptly at 11:00am.
The ceremony will include a reading of the Exhortation by Professor David Wilkinson and a performance of The Last Post and Reville by student, Felix Black. A two-minute silence will be observed at 11am in remembrance.
We hope you will join us in this moment of reflection.
Those on the Medway Campus, all staff and students are invited to attend a short service outside the Drill Hall library on Wednesday 11 November, from 10:45 – 11:15 am. We will pay our respects by laying a wreath at the side where soldiers gave their lives in WW1. There will be 2 minutes silence and a short reflection led by the Medway Chaplain.
