You can now register to join the University of Kent section of the Medway Pride parade, which takes place on Saturday 22 August in Rochester.
Parade tickets are free and grant access to the Pride event in the Rochester Castle gardens, but they are limited to 30, so please only book what you need! Watching the parade along the high street is free; friends and family who would like to come along to the event can book standard tickets (see the Medway Pride page for full details).
Kent students can book parade tickets. Assembly for the parade is at 9.30am by the benches outside the Sue Ryder Shop on Rochester High Street.
Transport: The closest train station is Rochester. Various Arriva buses serve Corporation Street (133, 140, 141, 190, 191, 700). Car parks in Rochester can be found here. Blue Boar Lane car park might be ok for 9.30am, though as it is the nearest it is likely to be busy. The station and multi-storey car parks are good alternatives.
