The University and Kent Students’ Union have launched the Academic Advising Awards and Teaching Excellence Awards – an opportunity for students to recognise and celebrate the amazing staff who support, inspire, and encourage you throughout your time at Kent.

These awards celebrate your Academic Adviser who goes above and beyond to support you.
This could be someone who:
- Helped you through a difficult time 💙
- Encouraged your academic or career goals 🎯
- Boosted your confidence 🌟
- Made you feel heard, supported, and valued 🤝
If your Academic Adviser has positively impacted your experience at Kent, now is your chance to say thank you and recognise the difference they make.
Teaching Excellence Awards
These awards recognise teaching staff who make learning engaging, inspiring, and inclusive.
This might be a lecturer or teacher who:
- Makes complex topics easier to understand 💡
- Creates engaging and interactive learning experiences 🎓
- Encourages confidence and critical thinking 🧠
- Builds a welcoming and supportive classroom environment ✨
