Launch of the Kent Graduate Scholarship

If you’re a current University of Kent student considering postgraduate study, there’s now even more reason to take the next step.

Kent has launched the Kent Graduate Scholarship for students progressing from undergraduate study into a Master’s degree in 2026 – offering financial support to help make postgraduate study more accessible.

Whether you’re planning to specialise in your subject, boost your career prospects, or explore a new area of interest, these scholarships are designed to support Kent students continuing their academic journey.

What’s on offer?

Students starting an eligible postgraduate taught course at Kent in September 2026 could receive £1,500 towards tuition fees for UK students or £3,000 towards tuition fees for overseas students.

Who can apply?

The scholarship is available to current final-year Kent undergraduate students who:

  • progress directly onto a postgraduate taught course at Kent
  • start their course in September 2026
  • achieve at least a 2:1 degree classification
  • hold an unconditional offer for their postgraduate course before the scholarship deadline.

Why stay at Kent for postgraduate study?

Postgraduate study can help you develop specialist knowledge, improve your career opportunities, gain valuable research and professional skills, and stand out in a competitive job market.

Staying at Kent also means continuing to study in a familiar environment with access to the University’s academic support, facilities, and student community.

This new Ambition scholarship is part of Kent’s commitment to helping students achieve their ambitions and continue their education without financial barriers standing in the way.

Don’t miss the deadline

Applications for the Kent Graduate Scholarship close Tuesday 16 July 2026 at 23:59.

Students are encouraged to apply early, as scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to eligible applicants.
