Applications are now open for Kent’s Year In programmes for 2026/27
A Year In gives you the opportunity to add an extra year of study in a different subject area, helping you broaden your knowledge and develop a distinctive skillset valued by employers. You can take a Year In between Stage 2 and Stage 3 of your degree, or after completing Stage 3.
The programme you choose is added to your degree title, clearly showcasing your additional expertise. Combined with the new skills, experiences, and confidence you’ll gain, a Year In can significantly strengthen your CV and help you stand out in a competitive graduate job market.
For 2026/27, you can boost your employability by adding one of the following six Year In programmes to your degree:
- Year In Computing
- Year In Data Analytics
- Year In a Language
- Year In Television and Online Broadcasting
- Year in Business Management
- Year In Journalism
For more information, check out the Year In webpage or sign up to attend the information event on Wednesday 4 February at 14:00.
