What is it and when does it take place?
Islamophobia Awareness Month is a national campaign in the UK that aims to raise awareness of anti-Muslim prejudice, discrimination, and hatred. It can manifest as racism, xenophobia, and religious discrimination. It also celebrates the positive contributions of Muslim communities, encouraging open conversations, challenging stereotypes, and promoting understanding across different faiths and cultures. Islamophobia Awareness Month takes place every November.
