Your Questions, Our Community

Student Success Belonging & Beyond Blog Series

Have you ever had a question you’ve wanted to ask a lecturer or someone who works behind the scenes at the university? Or perhaps there’s something you’d love to know more about when it comes to university life, careers or the support available to you?

As part of Student Success Belonging & Beyond blog series, we want to hear from you!
We’re launching Your Questions, Our Community, a collaborative and on-going submission portal via Microsoft Forms that gives you the chance to submit questions which will then be directed to the relevant academic or professional services colleagues.  Your questions and suggestions will then help shape your own community via a series of features where staff share their knowledge, experiences and advice on the things that matter to you.
Not sure what to ask? Here are a few ideas:
  • What support is available for students who might feel they don’t quite fit in?
  • What is being done to improve diversity and representation across our university?
  • What support is available that students might not know about?
  • How can I make the most of my time at university?
  • What do employers really look for in graduates?
  • How can we make sure different cultures, backgrounds and experiences are represented in university life?
  • What’s something you wish you’d known when you were a student?
  • How can I find a sense of belonging if I feel underrepresented?
And that’s just the beginning! Whether it’s academic advice, career tips, student support or something you’re simply curious about, we want to hear it.
So, submit your questions and ideas using our short Microsoft Form. We’ll use your responses to help shape future Belonging & Beyond features and put your questions to the people who can answer them.
