Update: 11:00
We are pleased to confirm that the Eduroam Wi-Fi service has been restored, with connectivity now available both on campus and at off-campus locations.
Current service status
Eduroam is back online and operating as expected. Staff and students should now be able to connect to the Wi-Fi service as normal.
While connectivity has been restored, our IT teams are continuing work to reinstate full resilience to the service. This means that although Eduroam is currently available, there remains a possibility of further disruption until this work is complete.
Ongoing monitoring and next steps
Our IT teams will continue to closely monitor Eduroam throughout the weekend and into Monday, while progressing the remaining work to ensure the service is stable and resilient.
We will provide further updates if there are any significant changes to service availability.
Thank you for your patience
We appreciate your patience and understanding while our teams have worked to restore connectivity. Please visit status.kent.ac.uk for ongoing updates.
Eduroam has been experiencing connection issues across both the Canterbury and Medway campus since 07.00 this morning. This means you may be unable to connect to the Eduroam Wi-Fi network whilst this issue remains.
IT Services are investigating and working to restore the service. We do not yet have an estimated resolution time.
Please use Wi-Fi Guest in the meantime, which remains available across campus.
Please check the IT Service Status page for updates.
Thank you for your patience.
