Pride Month is here and Kent Students’ Union have events taking place today and tomorrow!

 

Pride Materials Making Workshop

Location: The Venue

Date: Tuesday 2 June

Time: 12:00 – 16:00

Come along and make placards, badges and posters for Canterbury’s Pride Parade on 6th June. We’re providing all the materials, you just bring the creativity!

This event is in collaboration with the Give it a Go program it is FREE to attend and does not require booking, but please register your interest below to help us make sure we have enough supplies for everyone!

Pride Clothes Swap

Location: The Venue

Date: Wednesday 3 June

Time: 12:00 – 16:00

Come along and find clothes that align with your authentic self and let your confidence shine, ready for Canterbury Pride on 6th June.

Bring your clothes donations to the Mandela Building Reception between 13th May and 2nd June. Clothes will be checked for quality and cleanliness. Items should be in good quality and clean. This is the perfect time to do the pre-summer wardrobe clear out, rehome those socials fancy dress outfits or even your summer ball outfits!

Come and find your new wardrobe at the event at the swap held in Venue on Tuesday 3rd June 12-4pm, and choose your new items. Each student will be allowed to take up to 5 items.

No clothes to donate? No problem! Pop along and see what treasures you can find!
