Celebrating Kent’s 60th anniversary: you’re invited!

Whether you’re finishing your final year or just starting out, this is your chance to be part of Kent’s story past, present and future. We’d love you to join us in Canterbury 19-21 June for a campus-wide Diamond Weekend.

We know many of you will be moving out, or maybe even moving on that weekend, so it’s the perfect time to enjoy a final send-off with friends and family.

What’s happening?

A great night of comedy

Friday evening, head to the Gulbenkian to catch Laura Lexx, host of the Comedy Bureau; the brilliant Kyrah Gray; and Kent alumni Adam Dorr, West End New Act of the Year 2025 and a rising star who started right here at Kent. A reminder that Kent has always nurtured talent—and a great way to start the weekend. Exactly the right note as you move onto the next stage of your journey with Kent.

End of Year Shows and Showcases

Throughout the weekend, campus will highlight the best student work of the academic year, with exhibitions, installations, and live performances across disciplines, from Engineering to Social Sciences. You’ll also find a Student Business Market where the entrepreneurs of tomorrow will be open for business.

The School of Arts and Architecture presents Connect, its 2026 End of Year Show spotlighting students’ work at its finest. Expect work across Architecture, Drama, History of Art, Film and Media, Graphic Design, and Urban Planning, including Spatial and Interior Design.

Culture Fest brings everything together on Templeman Lawn, with student societies giving open-air performances, perfectly capturing the diversity and potential of students here at Kent.

If you’re still here Sunday, round off the weekend with a Jazz Brunch featuring Earl Okin, international jazz and bossa nova artist, songwriter, and one of Kent’s very own First 500 students.

We Are Kent is a chance to celebrate everything you’ve done at Kent before everyone heads off in different directions.

Tickets and the full programme are coming soon – so keep an eye out and make sure you don’t miss it!
