Book now to take part in our ‘Make It Yourself’ zine workshop and exhibition tour!
Special Collections and Archives will be hosting an exhibition tour and zine workshop on Friday 27th February in collaboration with local artist Dan Thompson, as part of our current exhibition, Make It Yourself.
This co-created exhibition hopes to inspire and motivate you to create your own publication and share it with others, and even invites you to submit your zine to include in the display.
On Friday 27th February…
- Join Dan for an exhibition tour in the Templeman Gallery 10:30-11:30
- Come along to one of our zine workshops run by Dan in Templeman A|108 and make your own zine! Sessions start at 13:30 and 15:00.
Booking is essential – to grab your place on one of the events above, please email us at specialcollections@kent.ac.uk letting us know which event you wish to attend. The events are open to all – students, staff and visitors. Places are limited, so book now to avoid disappointment.
Heidi Colthup, lecturer in Media at the Univeristy of Kent, will also be holding an exhibition tour in April – date and time TBC. Keep an eye on our social media for more details (@unikentarchives).
Our exhibition Make It Yourself is on now in the Templeman Gallery and will run until end of April 2026. It is open to all – just come along to the Templeman Library on our Canterbury campus and head to the gallery space on A1.
