Join an Inclusive Goalball Session, 25 Feb

Person playing goal ball wearing eye shades

Come along and take part in a fun and inclusive game of goalball, a team sport designed for blind and partially sighted players but also open to sighted players.

In goalball, everyone wears eyeshades to ensure a level playing field. Players roll the ball across the court aiming to score in the opposition’s goal while working together to defend their own. Silence is essential during play, as the ball contains bells that allow players to track its movement through sound. Tactile lines also help players feel where they are on the court. In this session we will guide you through the basic rules and tactics with helpful tips along the way.

See full event listing for time and location.

The session is free, but advance booking via email is required. Anyone wishing to attend should email sportsdevelopment@kent.ac.uk to reserve a place.
