Kent Students’ Union have recently launched The Black Student Voices Events and Initiatives Fund, which is open to students and student groups who want to bring their ideas to life.
Whether it’s an event, workshop, campaign or creative initiative, this fund aims to support projects that celebrate culture, raise awareness, and strengthen community on campus. Successful applicants will receive funding alongside guidance and promotional support from Kent Students’ Union. The fund is open to both Canterbury and Medway students.

Kent Cultural Events Fund
As well as KSU’s Black Student Voices Events and Initiatives Fund to amplify Black voices and communities, the University continues to provide the Kent Cultural Events Fund which is open to all students who want to run a multicultural event that will foster community building in the University.
Previous events supported by the fund include Diwali, Holi, Cultural Food festival and Kent African Summit.
