Donate your preloved items this Christmas

Get ready for the festive season with a pre-Christmas clear-out! Donating your unwanted items to the British Heart Foundation is a simple way to make space at home and support life-saving heart research.

Your preloved items could become someone else’s perfect gift. From books and clothes to games and gadgets, almost anything in good condition can help raise vital funds for people living with heart and circulatory diseases.

December is the ideal time to declutter before the celebrations begin. And once Christmas is over, the British Heart Foundation is also happy to accept any unwanted gifts – duplicate books, clothes that don’t fit, unopened Secret Santa gifts, and more.

Why Support the British Heart Foundation?

Donating your preloved items does more than just clear space – it helps save lives.

  • In the UK, someone dies from heart or circulatory disease every three minutes.
  • Every donation, every pound raised, and every minute of support helps fund research that makes a difference.
  • British Heart Foundation saved 14,000 tonnes of clothing from landfill in one year, helping reduce waste and protect the environment.
  • Items that can’t be sold in shops are reused or responsibly recycled wherever possible.
