<a href=\"http:\/\/www.epsrc.ac.uk\/skills\/fellows\/areas\/\">areas in which fellowships are available<\/a> &#8211; including postdoctoral theoretical physics fellowships).<\/li>\n<li>Royal Society:\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/royalsociety.org\/grants\/schemes\/newton-international\">Newton International Fellowships<\/a>: for non-UK scientists who are at an early stage of their research career and wish to conduct research in the UK.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/royalsociety.org\/grants\/schemes#collaboration\">Collaboration and Travel<\/a> grants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Leverhulme Trust <a id=\"link_211_9\" title=\"http:\/\/leverhulme.ac.uk\/funding\/VP\/VP.cfm\" href=\"http:\/\/leverhulme.ac.uk\/funding\/VP\/VP.cfm\" target=\"_blank\">Visiting Professorships<\/a>, awarded to UK institutions that wish to invite an eminent researcher from overseas to enhance the knowledge and skills of academic staff or the student body within the host institution.<\/li>\n<li>European Research Council <a href=\"http:\/\/erc.europa.eu\/funding-schemes\">grants<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/icam-i2cam.org\/index.php\/awards\/\">ICAM\/I2CAM Fellowships and Travel Awards<\/a> (if your current institution is in one of the <a href=\"http:\/\/icam-i2cam.org\/index.php\/branches\/\">ICAM branches<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li>Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.royalcommission1851.org\/awards\/\">Fellowships<\/a> (for recent PhD awardees &#8211;
